My husband was diagnosed on 4/24/14 with Sarcomatoid Renal Cell Carcinoma of the right kidney with metastatic disease in both lungs. Bill only had a cough for a week and then received this diagnosis. First treatment was Sutent for 28 days and immediately after treatment stopped Bill's cough returned and his breathing became labored. Within a week, he was started on chemo with a regiment of gemzar or gemcidibine and doxorubicin every two weeks. His breathing improved almost immediately and he just had his 5th treatment. We just take one day at a time...some good days and some difficult days. We would really like to hear what treatments and successes people have had with this type of cancer.
