This page of the registration process will take you though the profile entry form required for registration. You can click your mouse inside each box (or radio button) to enter data (or select that option). Sections that are labelled Required must have data entered in each box. Sections labeled Optional can be left empty, or with the standard defaults.
Required Input:
1. The username you choose here should be
a nickname, not your given name.
2. Make sure that you enter a password
that you will remember. Confirm the password by typing it in a second time.
3. Enter a cancer diagnosis, as completely
as you can. ie. If you have a sarcoma, please tell us what type - osteosarcoma,
leiomyosarcoma, etc.
4. If the patient is a child, click on the
empty radio button to the left of that word. This will change the radio button.
5. The validation codes are to avoid
hacker robots from registering on the forums. You do not have to remember them.
Optional Input - Public Profile:
*. You may enter identifying info in this
area.
6. The AIM box is for entry of your AOL
Instant Messenger ID
7. There are also a boxes to enter your
Yahoo Instant Messenger, ICQ, and MSN Messenger ID's
8. Entry of a website URL are for cancer
related websites only. Please do not enter other group or forum websites here.
They will be removed (see Rules).
9. Information that you enter in the
signature box will be automatically entered on each of your posts to the forums.
Optional Input - Preferences:
* This section is preset with defaults
options.
10. If you choose to change any of the
radio buttons, simply click inside the empty button.
11. You may change the time of day for your
forum display by selecting the drop down menu choices for GMT. The default is US
Mountain Standard time.
* You may also change the way that dates
are displayed.
12. Scroll through the entire page and when you are satisfied with your input, click
on the "Submit" button at the bottom of the page.
