I will discuss the elements of the bottom of the Rare Cancer Forums home page. Some elements will be discussed in detail in other topics.
1. This is a clickable link. If you click on it, all forums will be
marked read for your username and any flags to read them will be removed.
2. This is the heading of this section of the forums, telling you that you
are looking at members who are currently online.
3. This section tells you how many topics have been posted to all forums, the
number of registered members on all forums, and who the newest registered member
is (a clickable link to that member's profile).
4. The next section tells you how many total users are online at that time,
the type of member (registered, hidden, or guest), the total numbers of users
ever online at one time, and the user names (clickable links to their profile)
of the registered members currently online.
5. The copyright statement tells you that nothing in this forum can be
reproduced without the written permission of the Rare Cancer Alliance and the
forum post author.
6. The style of the forum is copyrighted also.
7. The original software for the forum was written by the phpBB group, but it
has been extensively modified by me. Since the core system was authored by
the phpBB group, you can consider that software portion copyrighted by them.
